The Alpha Delta chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. has been serving the Baltimore and DC Metropolitan area for nearly a century, having secured its original charter in 1926. Since its establishment at Morgan College, the chapter's undergraduate members and Alpha Delta Alumni Association have made substantial contributions to the global society, economy, and history through acts of service, philanthropy, and activism. The chapter has demonstrated a steadfast dedication to improving the communities it serves and has earned a reputation for excellence and leadership. Its long-standing legacy of service is a testament to the organization's commitment to promoting social change and advancing the common good.

The Alpha Delta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., known as the Always Divine chapter, was established on March 15, 1926, on the campus of Morgan College. This chapter's trailblazing history in scholarship, sisterhood, and service spans over 99 years. Its founding leader was Ms. Helen Cantrell Nash, who brought together a group of accomplished women to form this distinguished chapter. These women include Ms. Lois Brown, Ms. Nellie Colleen Henry, Ms. Mildred Jones, Ms. Francis Priscilla Male, Ms. Mary Short, Ms. Mable Spaudling, Ms. Guinevere Thomas, Ms. Olga Nicholson, and Ms. Charlotte Watson. The Alpha Delta Chapter continues to uphold the high standards set forth by its founding members, inspiring future generations of women to pursue excellence in all endeavors.
